Despite the Two Counties administration abandoning the cricket season, the Copford CC family are determined not to forgo those beloved hours traversing up and down the A12 and A14 for our away games. Therefore we will be keeping our season on track by virtually visiting every Division Two away ground we would have done.

Our players have committed to running the equivalent distance we normally cover over the course of the season. We have measured the distance starting at our home, the Hornet’s nest, travelling to each away ground, and back to our clubhouse to toast our victories. This is a total of 1012 km. We will start tracking the runs from Saturday 11th July until we hit the target and hopefully we can finish our final run at the club and have some celebratory drinks!
